Aurora is the suite of the B&B, room number one. Above the bed opens an eighteenth century frescoed ceiling in pale blue and gold, with stucco work, flower medallions and painted birds you can study without leaving your pillow. Everything below it is new: a double bed with a soft upholstered headboard, light blue linens, night blue curtains and Liberty style lamps that glow like glass flowers after dark. The double room sleeps up to three guests and has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a TV and free wifi. It sits on the first floor of a historic palazzo in the historic centre of Catania, one kilometre from the Duomo. Breakfast is included.
