Miriana is room number four, the softest of the four. Above the bed, a triptych of large white and gold blooms on a dark ground sets the tone, together with the light bedspread in small patterns and the warm glow of the bedside lamp. The wooden door with its name plate opens onto the corridor of the B&B, a few steps from the breakfast room. It is a double room with a double bed for up to three guests, with a private bathroom, air conditioning and free wifi, breakfast included. You are on the first floor of a historic palazzo in the historic centre of Catania, one kilometre from the Duomo.
